Victoria Falls Game Drives

By Ilala Lodge on October 8, 2015

Victoria Falls is home to some of the most beautiful scenery and wildlife you can find on the African Continent, and as such, has an endless amount of entertainment to offer. With two nearby parks teeming with wildlife, the Victoria Falls National Park and the Zambezi National Park, it is home to some of the best game viewing in Africa, which can be done from the back of a game drive safari vehicle.

Wild Horizons offer some amazing selections when it comes to Victoria Falls game drives. All drives include transfers to and from the Victoria Falls hotel you are staying at, take place daily, and typically last between 3 – 4 hours.

Game drives through the Zambezi National Park will open your eyes to wildlife and natural beauty as the open air vehicles make their way through this 4000km² park. Water holes, valleys, dense foliage and more, create the perfect environment for diverse wildlife situated within smelling distance on these safaris.

Each drive costs US$77.50 for both the morning and afternoon expeditions, excluding the park fees. A minimum of 2 guests is required, with a maximum of 14 guests per Victoria Falls safari.

AfriZim provide a pair of game drives in Victoria Falls options to choose from: a day drive and a night drive. AfriZim provide transfers to and from the Victoria Falls hotel you are staying in, as well as an expert guide. All the trips are on open, 4-wheel drive vehicles, which will take you through the basalt plains and lake shores of Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve. Day drives include a bush breakfast with night drives offering a bush dinner under the majestic African night sky.

Zambezi National Park drives in the morning or evening cost US$70 per person, with the 3 hour drives either in the AM or PM inside the Private Game Reserve costing US$103. The night game drive with dinner included costs US$130.
