The rooms at Ilala Lodge Hotel are located on two floors designed to create a feeling of privacy and to minimise disturbance from other guests. The rooms on the upper tier open out onto a balcony, while the lower rooms have double French doors leading onto peaceful manicured gardens.
Although the view of the spray from the falls is much clearer from the upper levels, the ground floor apartments offer charming proximity to the warthogs, and sometimes hippos, which visit the hotel grounds to graze. The adjacent Victoria Falls National Park provides an abundant supply of both four-legged and feathered visitors to admire and enjoy.
All the rooms are spacious and decorated with teak furnishings made from railway sleepers which enhance the African ambience and laid-back lodge atmosphere of this boutique hotel. Muted tones and soft furnishings in creams and soft browns mirror this uncomplicated, restful atmosphere which is complimented by comfortable beds and tranquil views.
The muted theme continues to the en suite bathrooms which are decked in shades of grey with white highlights for restful repose in the large bathtub or a refreshing shower. A generous supply of complimentary toiletries is provided for your convenience.
Ilala Lodge offers just 32 rooms in a variety of configurations to suit your individual needs. The two suites are located on the top floor with superlative views and a four poster king-size bed.
The rooms are conveniently located in an elegant curve, for easy access to the restaurants, pool and adventure booking centre.
